Big Bear Barbeque Sauce found its roots in 2007 when a young entrepreneur had the spark to redefine barbeque one taste bud at a time.  Owner and founder Charlie Gasmire started the idea for Big Bear his Junior year of High School in Plano, Texas, and along with guidance from his father, David Gasmire, he sought out to make his dream a reality.  Family friend Chris Nichols had been in the process of perfecting a family recipe for years when he heard of Charlie’s idea to start Big Bear, and quickly volunteered his homemade sauce to be the platform of a masterpiece in the making.

Over the last three years, countless hours of dedication and hard work have been put in to perfect the final recipe for Big Bear, establish the manufacturing process (in Houston, Texas), and complete the product branding through Hole in the Roof Marketing (in Waco, Texas). All aspects of Big Bear have been carefully and rigorously analyzed, thus creating a sauce that above all else displays quality.

Now attending Baylor University in Waco, Texas, owner and founder Charlie Gasmire is studying Finance and Entrepreneurship, using Big Bear as source of inspiration for his studies. Even as a debut product, Big Bear Barbeque has already developed a rich history of hard work and dedication to deliver One Killer Sauce.
